6.3 - EXTRAORDINARY CLEANING

CARRIED OUT BY A QUALIFIED

TECHNICIAN

Routine maintenance must be carried out at

least once a year and as often as the product

indicates 'SERVICE'.

The generator using pellets as solid fuel requires at least an-

nual routine maintenance which must be carried out by a

qual-

ified technician, using only original spare parts to restore

the combustion chamber seals.

Failure to do so may impair the safety of the appli-

ance and may invalidate the warranty conditions.

Observing the maintenance frequencies de-

scribed in the following user and maintenance

manual ensures that the heater will burn prop-

erly over time, avoiding any anomalies and/or

malfunctions that could require more technician

interventions.

Requests for extraordinary maintenance work are

not covered by the product warranty and are the

responsibility of the user.

HEAT EXCHANGER and ASH INSPECTION COMPART-

MENT

It is necessary to remove all combustion residues built up on

the walls of the heat exchanger and accumulated in the ash

inspection compartment up to the flue gas extractor.

GASKETS: FIRE DOOR , GLASS, ASH INSPECTION, ....

The gaskets ensure that the stove is airtight and that it func-

tions properly.

They must be periodically checked: if they are found to be worn

or damaged, they must be replaced immediately, otherwise the

product will not function properly.

These operations must be carried out by a qualified technician.

AIR PRESSURE SWITCH CONNECTION

It is necessary to remove soot from inside or close to the air

intake connection of the pressure switch connected to the com-

bustion chamber. This is done by unhooking the silicone tube

and blowing into the fitting or using a special tool.

ROOM FAN

During operation of the product, an accumulated layer of dust

is generated on the room fan due to the recirculation of air in

the room. It is necessary to remove the dust with a soft brush,

avoiding knocks against the fan, otherwise it will be damaged.

CHIMNEY and SMOKE DUCT

Chimney connection

Annually or whenever the need arises, vacuum and clean the

duct leading to the chimney. If there are horizontal sections, it

is necessary to remove residue before it obstructs the passage

of flue gas.
