5.1.3 - RADIO CONTROL DISPLAY FEATURES
AND FUNCTIONS
The radio control is equipped with a backlit LCD display which,
in order to reduce battery consumption, switches off (pow
-
er-saving mode) after a certain time.
BACKLIGHT SET function: the duration of backlighting is 10
seconds (adjustable) from the last press of any button.
SET POWER ON function: the duration of the symbols and
texts is 20 seconds (adjustable) from the last press of any key.
To reactivate the display (backlighting, symbols and texts), sim-
ply press the ON/OFF button.
In addition, the functions are active and available: SET
BRIGHTNESS, SET CONTRAST and SET KEY TONE, de-
scribed below.
To access the functions, press button 6 from the main screen.

ATTENTION: The life expectancy of the radio control
battery is also determined by the setting times of the
BACKLIGHTING and the setting times of the VISIBILITY
of the icons/texts. The longer the times, the shorter the
battery life.

5.1.5 - BATTERY MANAGEMENT RADIO
CONTROL
Batteries: to insert the batteries, remove the rear cover protecting
the compartment by lifting it with a specific tool. Insert 3 'AAA' bat
-
teries, observing the correct polarity (+) and (-). Close the battery
compartment cover.
In case of replacement, used batteries, which are
harmful to the environment, must be disposed of
separately in the appropriate waste bins
ATTENTION:
In the event of missing or dead bat-
teries, the stove can be controlled by the 'U-IN' con-
sole at the rear of the stove.
