Handmade Set of Hands
Also available is an elaborate set of handmade domed
*
, polished,
and blued hands
*
. These are little masterpieces that enhance the dial
of your Mechanica M2.

spray-on wax designed to protect them from corrosion.
In order to make the entire shine of the polish and doming visible,
carefully rub the wax layer with a soft cotton towel or leather cloth.

Suggestion:
Please use the gloves
included in the kit
to assemble the dial.
Contact with sweat
could otherwise
leave marks that
may be very difficult
to remove.
Polished Stainless steel Hands
The Stainless steel hands
*
that are also available lend your Mechanica
M2 an individualized look and clearly enhance the dial.
They have been ground and polished elaborately by hand. Thanks
to the type of Stainless steel used, they are absolutely immune to
corrosion.

Pierced Dial
This dial includes a cutaway that allows a free view of the
escapement
*
, the heart of your Mechanica M2, which usually
remains hidden from view.
This view is naturally that much more attractive when your
escapement has been upgraded to include the lavishly finished
version with Screw balance
*
, blued balance spring
*
, and blued
screws. With this additional equipment, your Mechanica M2 will be
entirely reminiscent of the precision pendulum clocks Erwin Sattler
manufactures, which allow a free view of the escapement
*
.
