The caller identification function must be activated on the SIM card. In some
cases it is not activated by default.
It is recommended to choose a SIM with at least 3 giga, 100 minutes and 100
SMS with an operator TIM, Wind or Vodafone. In addition, the SIM plan must be
a classic plan that can also be used with smartphones, and not a specific plan
only for alarm systems. To ensure that the SIM works properly, check by means
of a mobile phone call with the SIM.
If the customer decides to use his own SIM, it is his responsibility to periodically
ensure that it is charged and functioning.
Alternatively, the company UFO Security offers a Vodafone Micro SIM with a
maximum life of 2 years. The customer will be notified of the mobile phone
number before the device is shipped, so that it can be saved in the address
book.
To insert the SIM in the dialer, the machine must be switched off. With the
machine switched off, follow the procedure below:

Push the tab up and raise it (it says OPEN on it with the direction you need
to push) (Photo 1).
•
Insert the SIM into the tab, with the cut-out facing as shown in the image
(Photo 2).
•
Close the tab and push it down to lock it (Photo 3).
The module uses 2G technology for cellular communication. When the alarm is
triggered, it sends a voice call. If the user does not answer the call, the module
will perform 2 more rings (so 3 in total) before resetting to neutral status.
If requested by the customer, the module can be configured to make voice calls
with pre-recorded messages and send SMS with specific text.
