16.2 Serial Communi-
cation Port "uart1:"

The EasyCoder 601 XP is as standard always fitted with one RS
232C communication port. In UBI Fingerprint, this port is desig-
nated "uart1:" (Universal Asynchronous Receiver and Transmit-
ter). The circuitry is fitted on the CPU board (see chapter 15) and
has a fixed set of signals in a DB25 male connector which protrudes
through a slot in the printer's rear plate.

By default, the printer is set up as follows:
