13 ETHERNET PORT
13.1 Connection
Your unit is fitted with an Ethernet port allowing it to be controlled across a local
network using the Window Control panel, CORIOtools or a 3
rd
party control system.
The host computer will need an IP address in the same range as defined in the
scaler, the default scaler values are:
IP Address 10.1.2.123
Netmask 255.255.255.0
The host computer should therefore be set as below where xxx is any value except
123 as this is used for the scaler.
IP Address 10.1.2.xxx
Netmask 255.255.255.0
The connection to the scaler may either be through a network hub or via a
crossover cable as detailed below:

The Ethernet port uses the same protocol as defined in the following section for
Serial control.
