FO-VFKB Fibre Optic Keypad/Display Interface

example. Connection to the keypad is made via a short ribbon cable between
the 16 way IDC plug on the back of the FO-VFKB module and the similar con-
nector on the back of the keypad.
Power Requirements
A 24V DC power supply is required to drive the FO-VFKB. This is also the supply
for the display so must be capable of delivering at least 750mA. Power is
applied on the two way disconnect terminal. The board is diode protected
against reverse voltages being applied to the power connector. With power
applied to the board the green LED on the top of the board should be lit.
Data Connection
The data connection is identical to that of a membrane keypad.
