EASyPLUS’s internal clock with an NTP server.
Program Configuration
The EASyPLUS configuration software does not update the encoder/
decoder in real time, meaning that any changes made within the
configuration software must be sent to the EASyPLUS before they will take
effect. This is accomplished by clicking the Program Configuration button
on the Main tab.
Retrieve Configuration
The configuration parameters for the selected EASyPLUS can be
downloaded to the EASyPLUS Configuration software. To download the
EASyPLUS’s configuration parameters to the Configuration software, click
the Retrieve Configuration button.
Setting the EASyPLUS Time
The EASyPLUS’s internal time can be set by synchronizing it with the computer on which
the EASyPLUS Configuration software is installed.
To synchronize the EASyPLUS’s internal clock with the PC’s clock, click the
Set Time button, on the Main tab.
This method of time keeping for the EASyPLUS requires that the host computer’s clock be
monitored for accuracy, and that the synchronization process is repeated often to ensure
that the EASyPLUS’s time remains accurate.
