After unpacking your
Chronolog
, you should first allow it time to warm up
to the ambient temperature. Particularly during the colder seasons of the year,
dampness can build up inside the device if the
Chronolog
is moved from a
cold environment to a warm one.
Once your
Chronolog
has acclimatised, we recommend that you familiarise
yourself with your new audio player. Firstly you should make the connection
between your pre-amplifier and the
Chronolog
. The second step is to connect
a monitor/television or the supplied dongle. Then connect the
Chronolog
to
your router or network with a suitable network cable, so that it can access the
Internet. The last step is to plug the supplied Trigon Volt power cable into the
Chronolog
’s mains socket and connect the mains plug to the mains supply.
Now switch the
Chronolog
on by operating the power switch on the back of
the device and pressing the start button on the front of the device.
After powering up, the
Chronolog
’s drive is initialised and "
Trigon Chronolog
"
appears in the display on the front of the device.
Warning: The
Chronolog
does not start up if there is no monitor, television
or dongle connected.
During start-up, the status lamp flashes and the audio output is released by
a relay, which can be identified by a quiet click. Once start-up is completed,
the status lamp lights up permanently and the Main menu is displayed. You
should now familiarise yourself with the operating elements and the connection
sockets.
