5. Trigon-Touch Remote Control
There are several ways of controlling the
Chronolog
. For instance, through
the operating elements on the front of the device, through the TV menu or
through the browser on a network-capable device such as an iPad, mobile phone,
computer, etc.
In order to be able to use the
Chronolog
’s browser remote control, you
need a network connection to the
Chronolog
. This can be done through
a router or directly through a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). The
"Trigon-Touch"
browser remote control is called through the
Chronolog
’s
IP address. The
Chronolog
’s IP address can be found in the
Chronolog
Main menu under System Information -> Network. This address is entered and
called through the browser address line. If you are using a WLAN router with
which the
Chronolog
and your remote control device are already connected,
you don’t have to establish a new connection to the
Chronolog
.
5.1 WLAN connection with the iPad
In order to be able to operate the
Chronolog
with the iPad, a network
connection has to be established between the iPad and the
Chronolog
.
This can be done through your router or through a direct connection to
the
Chronolog
. If your iPad is already connected to your router and the
Chronolog
has a cabled connection to the router, you can skip to point
5.1.4.
