1. General Device Description
1.1 Safety advice
• The
TrigonElektronik
GmbH Company assumes no liability for any
damage caused by improper use and by non-compliance with the following
safety instructions.
• The
Chronolog
must not be placed in the immediate proximity of heat
sources such as radiators, stoves, high-performance lighting, open flames,
etc.
• The
Chronolog
must not be subjected to any violent impacts or
vibration.
• The
Chronolog
must not be connected to mains power immediately
after having been moved from a cold environment into a warm room. A
build up of condensation could damage the device. Wait for some time
until the device has warmed up to the ambient temperature.
• The
Chronolog
must not be exposed to the direct rays of the sun.
• You should ensure that there is adequate ventilation available at the
location where the
Chronolog
is positioned.
• Do not operate the
Chronolog
without its protective housing.
• Always unplug the
Chronolog
from the mains supply before opening
it.
• Never bypass the fuse. A faulty fuse must always be replaced by one of
the same type and value.
• Under no circumstances should you attempt to carry out any repairs
yourself. Any maintenance and/or repairs may only be carried out by
authorised personnel who received special training. Any possible claims
on the warranty are rendered null and void in the event of any improper
handling or in the case of unauthorised third-party interventions.
• The
Chronolog
must always be switched off before unplugging it or
before attaching any connection cables.
• The mains power may be between 100 V and 240 V.
• You should only use accessories/extensions with the
Chronolog
that
are recommended for the purpose by the manufacturer.
