1.2 Installation advice
After unpacking the device, please check your
Chronolog
for any signs of
transport damage. In the unlikely event that you identify some damage, please
contact your dealer immediately. Then check the contents of the packaging to
ensure that everything is there. Apart from the
Chronolog
you should aslo
find:
• A
Trigon Volt
power cable
• A dongle
• A DVI - VGA adapter
• Two WLAN antennae
• A warranty claims form
The device should be installed in a horizontal position at a dry location. Make
sure there is good ventilation. Strong magnetic scatter fields such as those
produced by halogen lamp transformers can lead to humming interference. For
this reason, your should install your
Chronolog
away from such devices. Also,
the connection cables should not be laid next to lighting cables. Luminescent
screen tubes also cause humming interference so that here also there should be
a distance of at least 1 metre between the device and any such lights. Avoid
installing your
Chronolog
where it will be exposed to direct sunlight and
where it is in close proximity to strong heat sources.
