Connect the other end of the cable to the printer. To secure the cable, squeeze the
clips at each side of the printer port and push them into place.

Plug the printer's power cord into an appropriate grounded electrical outlet.
Using the Serial Interface
If you have a printer, modem, or other peripheral device with a serial interface, you
can connect it to the serial (RS-232C) port(s) on the back of the computer. The serial
port uses a D-sub 9-pin connector, so make sure you have a compatible cable.
To connect a serial device, insert the connector from the serial device into the serial
port marked
