Comply with the necessary installation space listed in Illustration 13 and Illustration 15, if the optional radio remote control is
delivered.

–

Check to ensure that the wire rope enters the hoist vertically in the pulling direction (see Illustration 13).

–

Check that the mounting does not cover any stickers or nameplates (see Illustration 18).

–

Check if other components obstruct a correct operating of the hoist.

–

The hoist must not be mounted horizontally on the flat side.

–

Attach the hoist in such a way that the flat side only points to the side (Illustration 17).

6.1.3 Check the components and the accessories

DANGER!

Risk of severe injuries caused by worn components!

–

If worn or damaged components are visible please contact trained and certified maintenance personnel.

General

–

Check that the hoist and documentation are complete (see § 3.2 and § 4.2).

–

Check that all of the screw connections for fastening of the hoist are tight.

–

Replacement of any damaged or worn parts is only to be carried out by maintenance personnel trained and certified by Tractel.

Anchoring devices

–

Check whether the bolts/screws/suspension rigs comply with the specifications in § 4.5.

–

Inspect the load bolts and screw connections for damage.

Supply power cable with multi-pole plug connector

–

Check that the length is adequate.

–

Check whether the cable cross-section is sufficient for the planned cable length.
