4.4.3 Parameterization

For parameterization purposes, i.e. the input of data for resolution, code sequence,
etc., the configuration program normally provides an input mask. This mask can be
used to set the following parameters.

4.4.3.1 Code sequence:

Defines the counting direction of the encoder.

(movement of the position sensor toward the end of the rod)



Decreasing

(movement of the position sensor toward the end of the rod)

4.4.3.2 Class 2 functionality:

Defines the SSI-BOX's range of functions.
"Class 2 deactivated" means that the SSI-BOX only performs Class 1 functions, does
not scale the position value and is not adjustable.

4.4.3.3 Commissioning diagnostic control:

This parameter is optional according to the PNO profile. It is not currently supported
and is therefore not displayed.

4.4.3.4 Scaling function control:

Defines whether the SSI-BOX scales the position on the basis of the subsequent
parameter. If Class 2 is deactivated, it does not scale the position value and is not
adjustable.
