9 Troubleshooting and diagnosis options
9.1 Optical displays
The position and assignment of the LEDs can be found in the device specific pin assignment.
Run - LED 9.1.1
LED Cause Remedies
OFF
Voltage supply absent or too low
- Check power supply, wiring
- Is the voltage supply in the permissible
range?
Connector incorrectly wired or
screwed down
Check wiring and connector position
Hardware error, measuring system
defective
Replace measuring system
ON
(green)
Normal mode, measuring system OK -
Err - LED 9.1.2
LED Cause Remedies
OFF
No error present -
ON

At least one measuring system - error
occurred

- Outside the permissible working
temperature:
Bit1 in the status = 1
- Hardware failure:
Bit2 in the status = 1
- Temperature warning:
Suitable measures must be taken so that the
measuring system is operated within the
permissible working temperature.
- Hardware failure:
Switch supply voltage off and then on again.
If this measure is unsuccessful, the
measuring system must be replaced. If the
failure occurs repeated, the device must be
replaced also.
