Nonexistent
The device is without power.
Device Self
Testing
The device is executing its self tests.
Standby
The device needs commissioning due to an incorrect or
incomplete configuration.
Operational
The device is operating in a fashion that is normal for the device.
Major
Recoverable
Fault
The device has experienced a fault that is believed to be
recoverable.
Major
Unrecoverable
Fault
The device has experienced a fault that is believed to be
unrecoverable.

Power Applied
The device is powered up.
Passed Tests
The device has successfully passed all self tests.
Activated
The
device’s configuration is valid and the application for which
the device was designed is now capable of executing
(communications channels may or may not yet be established).
Deactivated
The device’s configuration is no longer valid and the application
for which the device was designed is no longer capable of
executing (communication channels mayor may not still be
established).
Minor Fault
A fault classified as either a
Minor Unrecoverable Fault
or
a
Minor Recoverable Fault
has occurred.
Major
Recoverable
Fault
An event classified as
Major Recoverable Fault
has
occurred.
Major
Unrecoverable
Fault
An event classified as a
Major Unrecoverable Fault
