3.ADJUSTMENT

2.Needle bar height

[Inspection]

(1) Remove the table set.

(2) Remove the needle plate.

(3) Rotate the hand wheel anti-clockwise.

When the needle bar comes to the

bottom dead center, the distance from

the rotary hook center to the needle tip

must be 8.0 ±0.1mm (Fig.1).

[Adjustment]

(1) Remove the lower cover (Fig.2).

(2) Loosen the set screw of the needle bar

connecting stud, set the needle bar height

gauge, adjust the height and tighten the

screw. (Figs.3, 4).

Note: Change the needle to check the

needle can be easily changed.

Note: If the needle can not be easily

changed, check the distance from the

surface of needle bar connecting stud to

the bottom of the upper dead point

stopper must be 4.5±0.2mm (Fig.3).

(3) Mount the needle plate and the table

set.
