3-6. RGB Demodulation
The demodulation from Y and color difference signals to
RGB signals is carried out by TDA4780. Fig. 7-13 shows
the pin configuration of TDA4780 and Fig. 7-14 shows the
block diagram. The TDA4780 performs the RGB demodu-
lation and adjusts color, contrast, and brightness. The
TDA4780 also has functions such as a gamma correction,
black extension, blue extension, etc. but they are not used
in this unit.
