COM/PCMCIA/PRT

This option controls settings for serial and parallel ports and the PC card slot.

(a)

Serial Port

Use this option to set the COM level, COM1 or COM2, for the serial port
and PC Card slot.

The serial port interrupt level (IRQ) and I/O port base

address for each COM level is shown below:

: If the Serial Port COM level is set to the same level as the PC Card

Use this option to select PC Card slot usage:

Choose this selection when a PCMCIA card is installed.
(This isthe default.)

Others

Choose this selection when a Toshiba card modem
is installed.

NOTE

: Only one PC Card Slot can be set to Others. For example, if PC

Card Slot 1 is set to Others and you also set PC Card Slot 2 to Others, PC
Card Slot 1 automatically changes to PCMCIA.
