Program 48 Overview
This program assigns the level of restriction to each station port defined in the system. If both
Day and Night Toll Restriction are selected, (
LED 3
) then Program 48 governs
the Toll Restriction for Day Service and for Night Service Toll Restriction
. If
it is not selected, program 48 will restrict the stations during both day and night service.
Note
To apply Toll Restriction to Tie lines, use station ports 028 ~ 039 for Tie lines 1 ~ 12
respectively. (i.e. For Tie Line 1 you would assign the correct level of toll restriction
to station port 028).
Digit Restrict Code
This selection is not currently available in the UK.
Ensure that 0 is entered in the Digit Restrict Code column, next to the port number.
Station Restrict Code
The second feature assigns Toll Restriction to individual station ports. It includes five
different choices. One of the choices must be entered for each port. Initialised data assigns 00
or no restrictions to all ports. The choices are explained as follows.

Station restrictions are overridden by lines disabled as defined in
. If a
station port has appearance of a line with restrictions disabled, the restrictions will
be removed from the station on an individual line basis through

No Station Toll Restriction
Enter 00 in the Station Restrict Code column, next to the port number, to remove Toll
Restrictions from the station.
Class 1 Toll Restriction
Enter 03 in the Station Restrict Code column in the space provided for the port number, if the
selected station will be assigned to the Class 1 level of restriction. Class 1 STD, International
and Local code restrictions are defined in

Class 2 Toll Restriction
Enter 04 in the Station Restrict Code column in the space provided for the port number, if the
selected station will be assigned to the Class 2 level of restriction. Class 2 STD, International

Class 3 Toll Restriction
Enter 05 in the Station Restrict Code column in the space provided for the port number, if the
selected station will be assigned to the Class 3 level of restriction. Class 3 STD, International
