Features
The computer uses Toshiba’s advanced Large Scale Integration (LSI),
Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) technology
extensively to provide compact size, minimum weight, low power usage,
and high reliability. This computer incorporates the following features and
benefits:
Microprocessor
The computer is equipped with a Mobile
Pentium® III processor at 500 MHz (7140) or
600 MHz (7200) and incorporates a math
co-processor and a 32 KB cache memory.
Level 2 cache
A 256KB level 2 cache is provided to maximise
performance.
Memory The computer comes with 64 Megabytes (MB) of
Random Access Memory (RAM), expandable
to 192 MB.
Video RAM The computer provides 4 MB of RAM for
video display.
Battery pack The computer is powered by one rechargeable
lithium-ion battery pack.
RTC battery
The internal RTC battery backs up the Real Time
Clock (RTC) and calendar.
