1.1 Functions and Features

Unified Controller nv Series FL-net Remote I/O Station Module FL654A User's Manual

1.1.2 Features

(1) FL-net compliant

The FL654A is a product conforming to the FL-net protocol Version 3.01 Class 1 of the Japan

Electrical Manufacturers Association. Protocol version 3.01 Class 1 can be mixed with protocol

version 2.00, and it is possible to connect with FL-net products of our company and other

companies.

Important

・

With FL-net, protocol version 1.00 compliant equipment and protocol version 2.00 / 3.01 class 1

compliant equipment cannot be operated on the same network.

(2) Cyclic transmission

The FL654A can perform I / O data communication with cyclic transmission of 50 ms / 32 units

and 2 K words + 2 K bits targeted for performance target of FL-net.

Important

The FL654A is applied to systems within the range of cyclic transmission performance according

to FL-net standard.

(3) Remote I/O station for the G2 I/O module

The FL654A enables the G2 I/O modules to be connected to the FL-net system without a

controller. Because it requires no controller, eliminating the need for using programs,

engineering costs are reduced.
