Care and service

Disassembling

1. Set the battery main switch to the "Off" or 0 position.
2. Unscrew the shaft anode (1) using an SW 32 open-end spanner.
3. Remove the cotter pin (2).
4. Remove the castle nut (3) (SW 24 ratchet) and remove the washer (4).
5. Pull off the propeller.

ADVICE

During removal and installation, ensure that the axial thrust washer (5) is not

lost.

6. Visual inspection for damage and foreign objects, e.g. fishing lines.
