6.5 Setting the steering resistance
With the Cruise 10.0 T, the steering resistance can be adjusted. Contrary to other
motors with external linkage, there is no friction. Friction enables the boat to remain
on course more easily.
To increase the resistance, move lever (1) clockwise.
To reduce the resistance, move lever (1) anticlockwise.
The base setting can be adjusted using the 10 mm-sized nut (2) under the lever.
To increase the resistance, turn nut (2) anticlockwise.
To reduce the resistance, turn nut (2) clockwise.
The system’s rail must be coated with a small quantity of marine grease on both
sides once per year.
