Accessing photometer files via Ethernet

You can also connect the photometer directly to an Ethernet network with a
suitable cable.

Ethernet settings

Access via FTP

Now you have access to the photometer via FTP (read access only). You can
e.g. copy the files stored on the photometer to a PC.

Make the settings for Ethernet:

With dynamic IP address (most
frequent case):

Select

Yes

for DHCP .

Confirm the setting with

[Apply]

Connect the cable for the Ethernet
connection to the photometer and
an Ethernet outlet.

Wait for a moment, then open the
Ethernet settings and check
whether an IP address was
assigned.

With a static IP address (rare
case):

Select

for DHCP.

Enter the IP address and Subnet-
Mask.

Connect the cable for the Ethernet
connection to the photometer and
an Ethernet outlet.
