The third instruction is “Move to tar-
get velocity”. Please note that this is
an endless movement command, so
it is mandatory to enter a “Stop axis”
command afterwards.
The velocity and acceleration are con-
figurable values:
- Velocity is expressed in percentage
of Max allowable velocity (beside you
can see the resulting velocity in mm/s)
- Acceleration is expressed in percent-
age of Max allowable acceleration
(beside you can see the resulting
acceleration in mm/s
2
).
After “Move to target velocity” com-
mand, you need to stop the axis
before it touches the limit switch sen-
sor. “Stop axis” does just that.
This symbol indicates a movement
in the negative direction (towards the
motor), while
this a movement in
the positive direction (away from the
motor).
The two leds indicate YOUdrive status
and Axis Status. “Axis po sition” indi-
cates the current position of the axis.
