K2 Storage System Instruction Manual

Chapter 5 Installing the Level 3 Storage System

The configuration file for the media file system is displayed. You can verify media
file system parameters by viewing this file. Do not edit this file. Click

Accept

.

A “…Please wait…” message box displays progress and a “…succeeded…”
message confirms the process is complete.

5. A message informs you that you must restart the media server, however the restart

at the end of the Configure K2 Server wizard suffices, so you do not need to restart
now.

6. Close the Storage Utility.

NOTE: Do not attempt to start K2 Media Clients or otherwise bring the K2 Storage
System online until instructed to do so later in this chapter.

7. Continue with the next procedure.
