Saving a current configuration (pdcsave)
To save a current configuration, type
pdcsave
after the ViBE prompt:

Enter the following fields:

cuid to save :
™

: The configurations of the chassis (IP, etc.) and Basic encoder
parameters are saved (chassis type configuration).

x
: The configuration of the Basic encoder x is saved (EM
Encoder type configuration).
„ conf number : enter the number assigned to the configuration (
1
to
32
).
If the number is already being used, the predefined configuration
corresponding to this number will be overwritten.
„
author : enter the name of the predefined configuration’s author.
„ comment : enter a personal comment to identify the configuration.
The following information will be displayed:
„ save cuid x in conf yy OK : storage in memory has been performed
successfully.
If the operation is not successful, the
save KO <xxxx> message will be
displayed where xxxx indicates the reason for failure.
Loading a predefined configuration ( pdcload )
To load a predefined configuration, type
pdcload
after the ViBE prompt:
There is no locking mechanism between the different interfaces
which have access to predefined configurations. It is therefore up to
the User to manage operation of these interfaces.
Some numbers are reserved for predefined configurations stored at
the factory and can not be overwritten.
