Set Up an Application
Application templates let you quickly get started
running. This section explains how to use an
application template to create a
sequence (a list of
samples to be processed).
To start the Application Wizard:
1. On the panel tabset, click the Sequence
Control tab.
2. Under Prepare System , click Application
Wizard (see Figure 33 ).
3. On the Chromeleon Application Wizard, click
Application Template , and then select a
template from the list. See the example in
Figure 34 .
4. Click Next> .
5. Under Generate program and method files ,
click in a new sequence via Sequence
Wizard (see Figure 35 ).
6. Click Next> .
To define unknown samples:
1. Enter the following parameters to define an
unknown sample:
a. Select Use Template .
b. In the Template for Sample Name field,
type Sample , click the right arrow, and
select Sample Number #n .
c. In the Number of Vials field, type 1 .
d. Accept default settings for the remaining
parameters on the page.
NOTE You can edit the sequence later, to add more
samples and select the injection parameters
appropriate for your application.
2. Click Apply .
