Water Pump Belt
The water pump pulley is a split type. Adjust the tension by adding or removing shims between
the pulley sheaves. See for the correct water pump belt tension settings.

1.
Remove the bolts from the water pump pulley.
2.
Remove the pulley sliding section and add or remove shims to adjust the belt tension.
3.
Reinstall the belt on the pulley and replace the sliding pulley section on the pulley.
4.
Tighten the mounting bolts on the water pump pulley.
5.
Check the belt tension setting and readjust if necessary.
