Schedule Power On/Off
Using t he Thecus I P st or age Sy st em Managem en t , you can save en ergy and m oney
by scheduling t he Thecu s I P st orage t o t urn it self on and off during cert ain t im es of
t he day.
From t h e m enu, choose t he Sch e du le Pow e r On / Off it em and t he Sch e du le
Pow e r On / Off screen appear s.
To designat e a schedule for t he Thecus I P st orage t o t urn on and off, first enable
t he feat ure by checking t he En a ble Sch e d u le Pow e r On / Off checkbox .
Then, sim ply choose an on and off t im e for each day of t he w eek .
Finally, click Apply t o save you r changes.
Ex a m ple - M on d a y : On : 8 :0 0 ; Off: 1 6 :0 0
Syst em w ill t urn on at 8 : 00 AM on Monday, and off at 16: 00 on Monday . Syst em
w ill t urn on for t he rest of t he w eek.
I f y ou choose an on t im e, but do not assign an off t im e, t he sy st em w ill t urn on and
rem ain on unt il a schedu led off t im e is r eached, or if t he unit is shut dow n m anually.

Syst em w ill t urn on at 8 : 00 AM on Monday, and w ill not shut dow n unless pow er ed
dow n m anually.
You m ay also ch oose t w o on t im es or t w o off t im es on a part icular day, and t he
syst em w ill act accordingly.

Syst em w ill t urn off at 8 : 00 AM on Monday. Syst em w ill t urn off at 16: 0 0 PM on
Monday, if it w as on. I f t he syst em w as already off at 16: 00 PM on Monday, sy st em
w ill st ay off.
