You can configure Thecus I P st or age t o act as a print er ser ver. That w ay, all PCs
connect ed t o t he n et w or k can ut ilize t he sam e print er.

To set up t h e Print er Serv er in Window s XP SP2 , follow t he st eps below :
1. Connect t h e USB print er t o one of t h e USB port s ( preferably t he r ear USB
port s; fr ont USB port s can be used for ext ernal HDD enclosur es) .
2. Go t o St a r t > Pr in t e r s a n d Fa x e s.
3. Click on File > Add Pr in t e r .
4. The Add Pr in t e r W iz a r d appears on y our scr een. Click N e x t .
5. Select t he “ A n e t w or k pr in t e r , or a p r in t e r a t t a ch e d t o a n ot h e r
com pu t e r ” opt ion.
6. Select “ Con n e ct t o a p r in t e r on t h e I n t e r n e t or on a h om e or office
n e t w or k ” , and ent er “

7. Your Window s syst em w ill ask you t o inst all driver s for y our print er. Select
t he cor rect driver for y our print er.
8. Your Window s sy st em w ill ask you if you w ant t o set t his print er as “ Default
Print er” . Select Ye s and all your print j obs w ill be subm it t ed t o t his print er
by default . Click N e x t .
