Fault of the Local Control Panel (LCP) (9)

The LCP is the focal point for communication which interfaces the local PC and the Remote Control to the transmitters and

monitors. The LCP evaluates directly the battery and the mains monitoring. The LCP consists of two boards: LC-CPU, LCI.

screen is dark. Keys do not

function.

ALARM and NORMAL remain

lit, LCD screen is dark.

Reset Processor of LC-CPU

board. ALARM and NORMAL

until processor is initializing

and extinguish after that.

Execute lamp test: Press siĆ

multaneously keys XMTR and

MON at front panel. Indicators

must light, the buzzer gives a

short tone. For this test the

processor and software must

run.

Measure at back panel

BP-C the '5VK' voltage

against GND:

If 5VK is

4,9 V change

DCC-3-05.

If 5VK is

4,9 V, check

14-pole flat ribbon cable

fromCSL front (connector

X4) to LCP ( connector

CT5).

If lamp test is not successĆ

ful though the 5VK voltage

is ok, the LCP is faulty. ReĆ

place completely the LCP.

LCI: LCD

LC-CPU on.

Check ±15 V voltage supply

fromCSL.

If ok, replace LCI board

with LCD display.

If check fauls again, reĆ

place CSL.

At least one *.sit file is missing

or damaged in the LCP.

The RAM-check states a fault.

Call Menu 'RC Management'

in ADRACS:
