Performing Date Calculations
The Date Calculator is designed to assist you in
determining start dates, end dates and number of days
between two dates. Any one of these figures can be
calculated when the other two are known.
To access the Date Calculator:
1. Tap on the Primary list box in the Calculator screen.
2. Select Date .
The Date Calculator screen will be displayed.
To perform Date calculations:
If you know two of the following values: 1) the Start Date , 2) the End Date , and 3)
the number of Days between start and end dates, you can determine the value of
the third.
To Solve for End Date:
By entering a Start Date and Days between start and end date, you can determine
the End Date . For example, if the Start Date is 01/03/97 and the total number of Days
is 27, find the End Date :
1. Tap on the box to the right of

. A Date Picker will be displayed.
2. If necessary, use the

to the left and right of the year to access the
appropriate year (1997).
3. Use the
µ
to the left and right of the month, as needed, to access the
appropriate month (Jan).
4. Select the appropriate day of the month (3).
5. Tap
(
to move the Start Date value to the
Start Date
field.
6. Tap on the box to the right of
€
. A calculator will be displayed.
7. Enter the appropriate numbers (27) to create the
Days
value.
8. Tap
(
to move the Days value to the
Days
field.
9. Tap

to solve the equation. The answer (Jan 30, 1997) will appear in
the
End Date
field.
10. To clear values from all three fields, tap
C
.
Did you know that if you’re 10,000 days old, you’re 27? And, if you live to be 100 years old, you
will have lived 36,541 days? How old are you in days? To find out, enter your birthday as the
Start Date on the Date calendar and Today as the End Date. Then, click Days.
