You can connect a television set or projector to the follow-
ing outputs:

24
25 HDMI OUT
Digital video and audio signals via an HDMI cable.
Ideally, you should use this output as video signals are
emitted in HD resolution only here.
24 Y CB/PB CR/PR
Analogue component picture signal via a triple RCA
cable. When connecting, pay attention to the colour of
the jacks (green, blue and red). Analogue sound can be
issued via the RCA jacks
21
“L R”.
20 VIDEO

analogue sound can be issued via the RCA jacks

22 COAXIAL/23 OPTICAL
You can connect the coaxial or optical digital sound input
from an external source, e.g. a home cinema system or a
recorder, here.
You will need a coaxial cable with RCA plugs for the
coaxial connection.
You will need an optical cable with TOSLINK plug for the
optical connection. Your external device requires an opti-
cal 3.5 mm plug or a TOSLINK plug too.
Inputs for source devices
The receiver has 2 analogue sound inputs (AUX 1 and
AUX 2).
18
You can, for example, connect the sound output of your
television set to one of these inputs to enjoy audio play-
back from the receiver as well when watching television
shows. Consult the operating instructions of your televi-
sion for this.
18 AUX IN 1 and 2
Here you can connect one source device with analogue
sound each. You will need a stereo RCA cable (L and R)
for this.
Connecting to a power supply
