Initial Adaption

Here are the procedures to perform transceiver channel test:

Copy the Transceiver_Test folder to your local disk.

Ensure that the FPGA board is NOT powered on.

Plug-in the QSPF-DD loopback fixtures.

Connect your FPGA board to your PC with a mini USB cable.

Power on the FPGA board

Execute 'test.bat" in the Transceiver_Test folder under your local disk.

The batch file will download .sof and .elf files, and start the test immediately.

The test result is shown in the Nios II Terminal, as shown in

Figure 9-5.

To terminate the test, press one of the BUTTON0~1 buttons on the FPGA

board. The loopback test will terminate as shown in

Figure 9-6
