Demonstration Setup and Instructions



Make sure Quartus Prime and Nios II are installed on your PC.



Power on the FPGA board.



Use the USB Cable to connect your PC and the FPGA board and install USB

Blaster II driver if necessary.



Execute the demo batch file “test.bat” under the batch file folder,

NIOS_BASIC_DEMO\demo_batch.



After the Nios II program is downloaded and executed successfully, a prompt

message will be displayed in nios2-terminal.



For the PLL Si5340

A test, please input key ‘0’ and input the desired output

frequency for two clock sources, as shown in

Figure 5-12
