7. Position the new brush in the machine with

the open end placed over the drive plug

splines first, then, the end with the bearing

assembly pushed into place.

8. Reinstall the knob pin in the brush arm.

Push the pin in until the two ribs on the pin

line up with the two slots in the brush arm.

NOTE: You may have to move the free end of the

main brush around to help line up the pin and

bearing.

9. Push the pin in and turn it until it locks in

position. A detent type lock should be felt.

10. Reinstall the debris hopper and operate the

machine. Check the taper of the main brush

and adjust if needed. See TO ADJUST
