4. Install the new idler pulley on the idler arm.

Make sure to reinstall the spring mount

bracket. Tighten the hex screw and nut to

7.6 -- 9.9 Nm (6 -- 8 ft lb).

5. Slip the drive belt back over the transaxle

sheave and the new idler pulley.

6. Lower the engine cover and operate the

machine. Check the new idler for proper

operation.
