3. Connect a 10 mL syringe to the Luer-Lok fitting, and pull solvent through the line.

4. Remove the Luer-Lok fitting from the port.

5. Reconnect the solvent line to the degasser outlet port.

To remove air from the LDA and from the solvent lines that connect the degassing unit to the
proportioning valves, start the solvent flow by using the data system controls (see

“Using the
