Making the Initial Back Panel Connections

Accela Pump Hardware Manual

Thermo Scientific

Connecting the Power Cable

The pump is shipped with a power cord appropriate for the shipping destination.

To connect the pump to line power

1. Connect the power cord to the line power receptacle on the back panel of the pump.

2. Connect the power cord to an appropriate line power source.

Connecting the USB Cable

The Accela Pump Accessory Kit contains a USB cable that is approximately 3 m long.

To connect the pump to the computer with the USB cable

1. Connect the series A plug of the USB cable to an available USB port on the computer.

2. Connect the series B plug of the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the Accela

Pump.

CAUTION

Never connect the pump to, or operate the pump with, an electrical line source

that has power drops or fluctuations of 10% below the nominal rated line voltage.
