Description

Downloads the recorder in a streaming fashion, without any special communications pro-

tocol.

The sum of StartAddr and nBytes must not exceed the available data on the recorder, or the

command will be rejected.

MY – Y-Modem output

Purpose

Uploads recorder data to a host computer using standard YMODEM protocol.

Recovering Data from the Loop Recorder

Description

Use the MY command to recover data from the recorder only when BBTalk is not availa-

ble to recover the data.

RY uploads the entire contents of the recorder via the serial interface to a host computer

using the standard YMODEM protocol for binary file transfer. Any communications pro-

gram that uses the YMODEM protocol may be used to upload the recorder data. The data

is transferred to the host and stored.
