5.2 Network Cabling to Network Element Module
To connect network element cabling to a NE module, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the outboard raceway cover (two screws).

To connect network element cabling to a NE module, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the outboard raceway cover (two screws).

Lift latch and swing inward
several or all trays above
Open outboard-cabling
access cover by sliding
finger tab toward aisle.

Keep the 1st tray for cabling
latched in its closed position.

2. As an aid in cabling the first tray, open several or all trays above the first tray. (To open trays,
pull slightly on the tray latches and then rotate the trays toward the inboard area of the ADF,
as shown in Figure 44, on the following page.)
3. For the first tray, open the outboard-cabling access cover by sliding the finger tab toward the
front aisle.
