Separate lineups provide complete isolation of fibers inside the Main ADF bay. When that cannot
be done, the following are options:
• IFC (IntraFacility Cable) and NE (Network Element) modules should be laid out so that an
ISP (InterBay Storage Panel) contains only one type of fiber — Working or Protect.
• Working and Protect interpanel cross-connects should be separated in the top and
bottom troughs.
