Fundamentals of this cross-connect are as follows:
• NE (Network Element) modules (only) are mounted on both sides of the Main ADF bay.
• ISPs (Interbay Storage Panels) are required.
• Back-side NE patch cords come in from the CMS (Cable Management System) into the ISP 

and are presented to the back side of the NE modules (Network Element Patch Cords A).

• Front-side NE patch cords are routed into the frame from the CMS and presented to the front 

side of the adapter (Network Element Patch Cord B).
