• Interframe connections can be done in two ways:
1. by routing the patch cord between the two frames via the Lower Trough (A)
2. by routing the patch cord through the Upper Trough (B)
• The excess cross-connect patch cord length is stored in the Main ADF bays.
• For NE (Network Element) patch cord isolation and safety, storing cross-connect patch cords
in the ISP (InterBay Storage Panel) is
not
recommended.
• Connect the origin, then route to the cross-connecting point. Store any extra cable on the
Main ADF bay nearest the second connection.
