4.1

Connecting to the Control Network

The TSBC-HW-TRANS Control network enables communication between the TSBC-HW-SRV and the 
TSBC-HW-TRANS.

Prerequisites

To connect the TSBC-HW-TRANS, you will need:

•

Two CAT5 Ethernet cables with RJ45 male-male terminations.

Connections

The TSBC-HW-TRANS is connected to the control network using two CAT5 Ethernet cables, as shown 
in 

Figure

 

4.1 on page

 26.

To connect to the control network:

1.

Connect the ETH0 connector on the TSBC-HW-TRANS to the control network switch one.

2.

Connect the ETH1 connector on the TSBC-HW-TRANS to the control network switch two.
