Removal and Installation Procedures

Standby/On Switch Flex Circuit Removal

Remove the trim and covers by following the procedure on page 6--7.

Remove the display assembly by following the procedure on page 6--18.

Orient the oscilloscope: Set the oscilloscope so its bottom is down on the
work surface and its front is facing you.

Remove the Standby/On Switch flex circuit: See Figure 6--7, page 6--16.

Peel the Standby/On switch flex circuit away from the front of the
display assembly.

Disconnect the flex circuit from J3 on the Display Adapter circuit board.

Grasp the flex circuit and pull it out of the Display assembly.

Reinstallation: Do following procedure to reinstall the Standby/On Switch.

Remove the protective backing on the Standby/On switch flex circuit.
