Using VERTICAL Controls

TDS1000B and TDS2000B Series Oscilloscopes – Operator Training Kit

4. On the top of the front panel, push

DEFAULT SETUP

5. In the VERTICAL section, push the

CH2 MENU

button.

6. In the VERTICAL section, turn the

CH1

and

CH2

VOLTS/DIV

knobs to set both channels for

500mV

the bottom of the display.

7. In the HORIZONTAL section, turn the

SEC/DIV

knob

counterclockwise to set the time base (displayed at the
bottom of the oscilloscope display) as

250 ms

Note that the CH1 and CH2 waveforms are displayed as
sine shaped waveforms scanning the screen, and
overlaying each other.

8. In the VERTICAL section, push the

MATH MENU

button.

9. Push the appropriate side-screen menu button to select
